Miguel Angel Medina

Is the eminent architectural expert on Tezcotzingo’s landscape architecture, art and aesthetics, in its capacity as a botanical garden. He is member of the College of Architects of Mexico City and the Mexican Society of Architects. His presentations on Tezcotzingo include: presentation at the XXXIII World Congress of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), City of Florence, Italy (1996); “Tetzcotzinco: Landscape architecture, art and aesthetics of the Mexican garden,” XXXIV IFLA World Congress, City of Buenos Aires, Argentina (1997); “The Recreation of the Landscape,” X Forum Internazionale di Studi. Le Vie dei Mercanti, Second University of Naples, Italy (2012); “Landscape Architecture for the Brain,” XI Forum Internazionale di Studi. Le Vie dei Mercanti, Second University of Naples, Italy (2013); and “Planning from the Awareness of a Place.”  He authored Arte y estética de El Tetzcotzinco: arquitectura de paisaje en la época de Netzahualcóyotl (UNAM, 1996-1997) and curated the first landscape architecture exhibition at Mexico’s National Museum of Architecture in the Palace of Fine Arts, “Arte y estética de El Tetzcotzinco.” Website: www.medinaarquitectos.com.
